I am the President and Founder of this student chapter, and I started this chapter in my second year at UCLA because our campus lacked a community supporting pre-HR professionals the resources and opportunities I desired. I hope to leave UCLA having created something that will benefit future students! COVID-19, the natural disasters, and social unrest in 2020 has shown that human resources will be an important business function that helps ensures employees are treated fairly and that businesses maximize talent to push the envelope on innovation. It’s an exciting time to go into HR—the future of work is undergoing a metamorphosis, and I am passionate about aiding in the development of future leaders in HR! If you have questions or want to chat, feel free to reach out to me on LinkedIn! I’m always happy to help a fellow Bruin!
Fun Fact: I am addicted to Takis and I am not proud of it.
