ABOUT PIHRA
Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA) was originally founded in 1944 as "Personnel and Industrial Relations Association" by a small group of Los Angeles personnel administrators. Now, PIHRA has grown to serve seventeen professional chapters, nine student chapters and three specialty groups. PIHRA has a dedicated staff and is headquartered in Gardena, CA.

STUDENT MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY
- Must be a freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, graduate student in an accredited college or university.
- Enrolled in a minimum of 8 units under the quarter system, or 6 units under the semester system.
- Academic coursework must have a Human Resources emphasis or be closely related.
- Unemployed or working 20 hours or less per week, not receiving benefits.
- Proof of eligibility:

- Payment of $30 for Student Membership.
